Was this an excuse for their friends and fans to get together? Or was there a community in their music? Mad Fables was the first Indie band, drawing thousands of people to their self-run events. Many more people say they "saw the band live" than actually exist in the state of New Jersey. (*)
The year is 1975, the hum-drum year. Mad Fables never had a hit, never had a song played on a commercial radio station for that matter. That's where the story begins.
